Calibration Technician
Primary responsibilities for the Calibration Technician include providing electronic,
mechanical and dimensional calibrations on a variety of precision measurement equipment.
Equipment is typically customer owned.
Contract Analyst
Prepare clarification documents related to the tracking of expenditures, contractor
performance, and contract related plans and strategies. Develop and maintain collaborative
and productive working relationship with contractor, including the facilitation
of regular contract related communication and invoice review meetings. Organize
and assist with reporting requirements for Project. Manage the integrity, development
and continued support of reconciliation systems. Usually requires a 2 year degree
in and 3-4 years related experience.
Legal Secretary
Furnishes administrative or secretarial support for a single or multiple attorneys.
Performs transcription of legal documents, correspondence, contracts, or briefs.
Reviews and edits prepared documents for accuracy. May investigate facts for projects
from existing files and draft a summation. Usually an intermediate level requiring
relevant vocational training plus 1-2 years experience, or equivalent.
Membership Processor
Responsible for the processing and fulfillment of membership packages, including
the printing of documents and shipping labels, assembling, packing, and bulk mailing.
The position will also oversee quality control, address member inquiries, and maintain
inventory of printed and related membership materials.
Supply Technician
Delivers requested supplies to internal departments. Receives orders and reviews
for proper codes and approval signatures. Stocks delivered items and checks shelves
for appropriate inventory levels. Prepares purchase orders as needed. Checks stock
for outdated or damaged supplies. Usually requires 6-12 months relevant experience.
Phone Interviewer
Interviews and recommends qualified candidates for open positions. Conducts reference
checks. Handles orientation and paperwork for new hires and sends rejection letters
to candidates not selected. Gathers other data such as EEO information, as needed.
Usually requires 1-2 years relevant experience.
Data Entry Keyer
Enters and verifies a variety of data in appropriate formats. Tracks and verifies
quality of data entry from all sources. Resolves problems regarding the data. Typically
reports to the Data Entry Supervisor. Requires high school diploma and 1-2 years
relevant experience, or equivalent.
Receptionist
Receives incoming telephone calls for a department or organization, obtains caller's
name, and forwards call to appropriate person or takes a message. Greets clients
and visitors and directs to conference room or staff member's office. May record
calls and visitors. Provides information and assistance to clients and customers.
Answers inquiries for the general public. Schedules appointments, maintains conference
room schedule, receives or sends out messenger/courier items. Performs typing and
other clerical duties. Usually requires 1 year relevant experience.
Cashier
Provides customer assistance by itemizing and totaling purchases. Handles and counts
money, issues receipts, operates cash register and reconciles cash drawer. May also
perform restocking duties. Usually requires some prior retail or cashiering experience.
Mechanical Assembler
Accomplishes various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated
or intricate. Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written
instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Operates hand or power tools,
or production equipment. Usually requires 2-3 years relevant experience, and is
a senior level position.
Accounting Specialist
Verifies and posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. Prepares
statements, invoices and vouchers. May handle balancing and reconciliations. May
specialize in one area of the accounting function. Requires understanding of bookkeeping
procedures and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Secretary
Performs moderately difficult secretarial and clerical duties under direct supervision.
Examples of work performed may include typing or word processing correspondence,
memos, reports; setting up and maintaining files and record systems, sorting mail,
greeting visitors, answering and routing telephone calls, or scheduling appointments.
May operate photocopier, facsimile, or other office equipment. Usually an entry
level position requiring one year relevant experience.
RN
Evaluates, plans, and administers nursing care to patients. Provides prescribed
medication and treatment. Aides physician during exams and treatment. Monitors and
records patient condition and notifies physician when appropriate. Monitors patient
care provided by LPNs, CNAs, and others. Requires completion of nursing school and
state license.
Home Health Aide
Provide routine, personal healthcare, such as bathing, dressing, or grooming, to
elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in the home of patients or in a residential
care facility.
PCA
Assist elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home
or in a daytime non-residential facility. Duties performed at a place of residence
may include keeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and preparing
meals. May provide meals and supervised activities at non-residential care facilities.
May advise families, the elderly, and disabled on such things as nutrition, cleanliness,
and household utilities.
LPN
Provides nursing care for ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled patients. Monitors
and records patients vital signs, dresses wounds and provides assistance with sanitary
needs. May assist higher level medical or nursing staff in providing patient care.
Usually requires graduation from an LPN course and state licensure.
